Comment: We enjoyed our visit to Drunken Fish. Fresh and tasty sushi. Our server was very attentive. Westport Plaza is in the process of a much needed facelift so the outside of this restaurant will be up to par with the inside. Can’t wait to come back.

Comment: I took my daughter to dinner and we were seated fairly quickly and our server was nice too. We had the lobster spring roll with the honey wasabi and it was glorious! We also had miso and seaweed salad along with two rolls that were delicious especially the white tiger roll.For a cocktail I had the lady butterfly which was fruity but not overly sweet.My only discrepancy was how long it took for our rolls to come out.Otherwise it was a great experience.

Comment: I love love love this place we had reservations for the Central West and location but they were close so we ended up going to this location and when I say 10 out of 10 would recommend and go again and again my server, Ashlee(sorry if it’s misspelled) was amazing and the manager, George OnPoint customer service super awesome!!!!! I was planning a surprise dinner and they helped make it become wonderful and they even do something special for me that I asked him to do that they usually don’t do I’m not gonna tell you cause I don’t want y’all going to ask them to do it. Lol but I greatly appreciate the staff at this location.not to mention food was amazing I’m thinking of getting take out today and I was just there yesterday 😅😅🤗

Comment: We stumbled into the Westport mall and are so glad we did because we had the most enjoyable time talking to Mason, their new bartender, and George the manager. The menu has so much to choose from, it was hard to decide, but we opted for the fried rice with lots of veggies and white breast of chicken and one of their signature rolls. I think the highlight was talking to Mason about our favorite sushi restaurants in St. Louis which took us down memory lane to Sansui in the Central West End with their large sushi boats. Tonight could not have been more enjoyable for a rainy Thursday evening. I highly recommend.

Comment: We had a Sunday evening group of 24; a restaurants nightmare. Our group trickled in over about 30 minutes after arriving 15 minutes late. In spite of this, George and the rest of the team were very gracious. They were patient and accommodating. They worked diligently to provide us with top level service throughout the experience. The food was excellent as well. Well prepared, not hurried (even with a flood of sushi orders hitting all at once) and carefully executed. We had a great time and will be back again.

Today I ordered the lobster spring roll, philly cheese steak roll and the fried philly.Lobster spring roll was good but very greasy, it spent zero time de greasing and was smaller and honestly more expensive then before. All in all, still tasty! As far as the cheesesteak and fried philly, they were delicious! I know everything cost more now but these rolls that are already expensive, increased in price and got smaller.The vibe hasn’t changed from dance club background music, but the service is still top notch. For the price I’m hoping the rolls size will increase to the way they use to be. Still a great place to eat when you budget for it!

Comment: The food was great, and toasttab was an interesting and a cool new way to order food and drinks. I was worried that the food was going to come out all at once, but it came in the regular order (soup, app, entree). It was a great experience and our service was great, the bartender was very helpful in choosing our sake, and the server was very polite. I did have some disappointments though. Firstly, the rainbow roll was not plated as it should be- with an ombre effect of the different fish. The rolls were rearranged which I found strange. My biggest complaint of the night though was the bussing. I work in the service industry, and it’s always a pet peeve to see dirty tables and no prebussing. We had our appetizer plate and finished sake glasses stacked like this when our sushi came out, and yet it was not taken away from the table until we finished the sushi. That to me is huge disappointment as nobody likes sitting with a dirty plate in front of them, especially on a small two top table. Overall though, we were very happy and will be back!

You can order all you want from the app and they just refill your drink as you need it. Comment: One word: STARBURST.You are welcome.My boyfriend, his friend and I bought the Saint Louis, the California, the Starburst, the goyoza and the Philly; hands down the *Starburst* is where its at (thats the pink sushi in the first image attached, which consists of crab, shrimp tempura, avocado, tamago + masago, wrapped in pink soy paper, topped with honey-wasabi mayo + sriracha.In our opinion the goyoza dipping sauce was very, very salty and the other sushi, although fresh, was not spectacular. We live 50 miles away and Id say the Starburst is worth the drive and possibly the other specials, but the common sushi you find at most restaurants was not.

Comment: I love this place! I always get the Steak Fried rice or chicken fried rice top it with the soy sauce LOVE IT! A wonderful taste, I don’t go to the “rice house” or “china mans” anymore. The sesame chicken is great too, very meaty, great portions. I also love the sweet potato fries. Last time I went they said they don’t sell them anymore..... bummer

Get the Gyoza. Get the large order. Its awesome.Pictured is the food we split. Left plate is scallop nigiri, red clam nigiri, and the Drunken Fish roll, all a la carte. Right plate is the sushi and sashimi combo ($23). We also got two appetizers and a cocktail, ended up costing about $90, which is more than we expected to spend, but appetizers and a la carte options always tend to add up quick. The fish is very high quality. The white tuna is as soft as butter. I usually prefer rolls, but the sashimi was so good, we ate it first and I was pretty disappointed we hadnt gotten more of it.

I ordered the Miso Soup on the side and it was excellent. For the entree, I ordered the Vegetable Soba Noodles stir fry, and it was amazing! I placed a carryout order for my son and he loved the Sushi and the Chicken Fried Rice that I brought home for him. Great food, good prices, excellent service and good ambiance. And they deserve to be, with some of the best sushi/sashimi in St. Louis. The staff has always been incredibly professional yet personable. The atmosphere is great for dates. Paper towels all over the floor, water soaking the counter tops and hasnt been dusted in quite a while. Steer clear of those and youre in good shape. Comment: I went there for the happy hour and everything we ordered tasted great. The regular menu can be pricy, but fairly extensive. It is a nice place in a popular location, plus decent sushi in the Midwest typically comes with a higher price tag. I thought happy hour was a great deal though. We got 3 drinks, 2 rolls and 2 appetizers for about $45 or so. The tuna tataki was good, although the sear could have been better and its ok quality tuna, not the best. Rainbow roll was great, and I would recommend the edamame hummus as well.

I last returned about a month or so ago with a small party to celebrate a friends birthday with some lunchtime sushi (and more).Straight from the get-go, our server Nicole was on it. She was super friendly, personable, attentive and charismatic. Honestly, we couldnt have asked for a better server--she was amazing.Sean, the manager, also had a big hand in making my friends birthday special and was equally awesome in adding to her memorable day! Comment: Can you say AWESOME SUSHI?!?! after this place is easy! I live in Texas my aunt lives in st. Charles and we have never been so full or pleased with our sushi meal! Waiter was Valentino and he was great!!! A must try is their strawberry cheesecake roll, perfect ensign to the perfect meal! We had three huge rolls, dessert, drinks and only paid 90 bucks, for a sushi place pretty awesome prices!! This is a must to come back to!
