Comment: The basics rolls were reallly good and the fresh wasabi was also really good but some of the sushi I got was not my cup of tea. I felt like it was definitely overpriced but the server was great and the plum wine was fire.

Comment: Felt a lil like a sardine in a tin with our large party in the small dining room.Food was amazing!!I realized I prefer the simplicity of plain edamame with salt.The Red Sea Bream Jalapeño was my personal favorite, had to order a second round of it! So delicious. Especially with their fresh wasabi!

Comment: This is our favorite sushi place in the Denver area. All the staff are wonderful. Sushi is on point and they have fresh made Wasabi which is unique and delicious. Matt is the best server and will treat you well. Highly recommend!!

Comment: Friendly service, we had a large party and they were very accommodating to our needs. (Friends birthday). The majority of the sushi was really good. We had 1/5 of the rolls that we were not a fan of, but the others were pretty good.

Comment: I think this place shows that you dont have to go to a super high end place to have high quality sushi thats unique. The sushi we got was super tasty, beautifully presented, and some of the specialty rolls they had were super unique. This was the second sushi place my partner and I went to while in Denver and it absolutely blew the other place out of the water.

Comment: Fontana sushi is the best sushi in Denver. Their sushi chef’s make unbelievably creative and refreshing rolls. Service is always very nice and attentive. I’ve been here many times since moving nearby and will keep coming back as long as I’m in Denver!Prices are reasonable and fresh wasabi is incredible.

Comment: This place would totally get 5 stars if it wouldn’t be for the awful customer service. We waited for about 15 minutes at the front, as the front desk was empty. When we finally got a table, we waited for the waiter for about the same amount of time. The customer service is quite poor at this place. After we have finally ordered, we waited for the food for approximately 40 minutes… The service is very slow. This place is definitely not for a quick grab. Maybe it’s because we went on Christmas, but still. We were waiting for our tea for more than 40 minutes. Wait times are absolutely horrible. We came at 18:15 and we haven’t received anything until 19:13. We had to ask for everything several times. On a more positive note though, the menu has a lot of options, which is good. The sushi we tried were delicious, very fresh, had decent amount of flavor, sauces, spices, etc. The food is served well, the dishes look nice. Soups were good, but udon could use some more flavor, teriyaki salmon was pretty good, but they were out of seafood teriyaki. Weird for a Japanese spot. Overall, our experience was slightly clouded by the incompetent staff, but overall though, we enjoyed the time we spent at this spot.

Comment: My partner & I love this place! We come here all the time & the staff is always so nice & greet us by name. The food is delicious as well! I always leave here so full & happy. :)
