Comment: This was our second time coming here. The first time was a great experience and the second time was an even better experience. We came for our son’s 9th birthday dinner. Kyoto Steakhouse made his birthday a very special one. Not only did they accommodate him (he REALLY likes Yum Yum sauce), sing Happy Birthday numerous times and in different ways, but the entire restaurant joined in and sang and we are so appreciative of the other guests joining in as well. Thank you so much. Food is delicious as always. The chef was so funny and professional. Our waiter Michael was awesome! He was kind, super professional and accommodating.

Comment: We did the hibachi and it was delicious! Afterwards we hung out by the bar and just chatted for a while. No one came up to ask if we wanted something to drink but in our case that was fine. Just know that you need to order drinks from the bar if youre lounging in that area. The service when we were eating was good and we will return to this restaurant. The food was plentiful and I had a whole other meal for lunch the next day with my leftovers.

Comment: This was a very yummy classic style hibachi grill. All staff that we interacted with was helpful and friendly. Our cook was entertaining and put on a good, fun show. The hibachi grill menu is standard for this type of meal, which includes salad, soup, fried rice, egg, noodles, veggies and whichever meats & /or seafood you choose. Oh, and as much, yum yum sauce as you could possibly desire. The food was really tasty. Decor is as you would expect for an Asian restaurant, not too fancy but not too casual either. The type of place you would feel comfortable going to no matter what your attire might be. I will definitely return, if Im in the area, especially to try the sushi since I didnt get any this trip. Prices are midrange and in my opinion are what would be expected for this type of restaurant. 2 Hibachi grill dinners and one adult beverage ran around $65.

The chef especially was personable, funny and very entertaining. He even sang happy birthday! The food was top notch as always (this wasnt my first visit, maybe 3rd or 4th?) and I left with enough for a full lunch the next day. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

I ordered steak and chicken, and it came with rice, noodles, onion soup and a salad, for $25.99. I thought that was a pretty good deal because other places would charge you more for the noodles, but the noodles were included with this price! Everything tasted pretty good and I would recommend this restaurant. Our cook and server were nice and approachable. There was a party of 9-10 behind us and it seems like they were enjoying themselves as well. Just know that each table includes 8 seats. I went in the evening during the week.

Comment: Ive been here a few times to celebrate birthdays with my friend that loves hibachi/teppanyaki. Our last visit was just last week.We both wanted teppanyaki and were seated at a table with another group but had an empty chair between us which was nice. When you order teppanyaki you choose your protein and it also comes with rice, noodles, onion soup and a salad. You can also get a combo here which offers multiple proteins.I am currently eating gluten free and have been avoiding restaurants because of it... I called ahead to ask if they had GF offerings and they said just tell the server. When our server took our orders I advised I was gluten free but would like the teppanyaki if they could do it. He advised, yes they had gluten free soy sauce and would cook my plate in the back so it would not be exposed to the gluten. I ordered the combo with chicken and shrimp. He then came back and advised that the onion soup had gluten but offered double salad if I wanted and advised that because the noodles were gluten I would have double rice on my plate. He brought my salad from the back with everyone elses and then brought my plate out right when the chef was starting to serve everyone else their rice. He even brought me a side of gluten free soy sauce and a special sweet and spicy sauce the chef in the back made! The GF version of the meal didnt taste any different from when Ive had the regular version in the past (if your eating GF you know thats a plus). Let me tell you, he made the experience so wonderful for me! I didnt feel like I was being needy or over the top and I still had delicious food!Our chef at the table was personable and did a few little jokes. He offered the shrimp catch but everyone declined. His show was enjoyable :)Friend and I were chatty so once we were done eating, we did sit in the sitting area for a bit to chat and someone even came over to ask if we needed drinks or anything. That was very nice.Reason for 4 stars is the food is good, but not amazing. Ive been here before I was GF as well and its just well basic. Its A LOT of food, but it could have more taste - maybe adding spices or something.

That being said I have visited this location in St. Peter’s twice now, both times I can at an off hour just to see what what would happen. Service was impeccable actually not annoying which was pleasing. As the creature of habit I had flirt med rare, and chicken with noodles and rice salad and soup. Wife had filet and shrimp. All three meats were really good and worthy of a third trip. We both had cocktails today which was the tsunami rum, pineapple and blue curcao. Yummy. I give this a very high thumbs up especially if doing a birthday they put on a little show for the birthday guest. You can do sit down at a private table but getting the food cooked in front of you adds to the experience. Enjoy.

Our chef was skilled and funny too, actually quite entertaining and personable!!!:) Prices had gone up since the pandemic hit (no surprise), but the value of our meal and dining experience was well worth it!!!:) The one thing that I would change is dor Kyotos to go back to authentic Japanese music and forget the country music! Jazz or Classical instrumental music would have been better than country for improving the atmosphere!

It was fairly busy, but the staff was on point and had everything going smoothly.The chef was very friendly, and clearly a pro at cooking on a flat top. The food was simply delicious. In my opinion, the fried rice and lo mein were some of the best Ive had in my 50 years on planet Earth!They have a sushi bar that is separate from the dining area, so theres lots of seating, whether you want a meal or just a drink with some sushi.I highly recommend Kyoto!

We ordered the U-Pick 2; 2 steak and salmon, and a steak and shrimp, a margarita, and a Mai Tai.My Daughter took a couple of sips of the Mai Tai and said it was awful and didnt drink anymore. The margarita was your standard low shelf margarita. The steak portions were small, we didnt have a lot of vegetables, but there were plenty of lo mein noodles and rice. For the price, I was expecting a little bit more. I am a rational person, and understand that costs have increased, but the portion should remain the same. It was nice to try, we may or may not be back.

Comment: This place was super fun, they cook your food right at your table and put on a bit of a show. The food tasted amazing, too! I want to give 5 stars, but I did have one issue. I have the weirdest allergy on the planet, Im allergic to squid and octopus, but Im always fine at restaurants if I avoid ordering foods containing those so I dont bother explaining my weird allergy to the waiter/waitress. However, here, even though no one I was with ordered either squid or octopus, I had a pretty bad allergic reaction. Im fairly certain that the only way that would have been possible would be some sort of cross contamination in the kitchen before the food got to my table - maybe the sushi? Or maybe they werent cleaning, washing hands, and changing gloves often enough? Im not sure, all I know is my face and neck swelled up like a balloon and I was itchy and red after eating here. Overall, I think I would give them another shot, but next time Ill be sure to ask them to change gloves and clean surfaces before handling my food.

From the food to the service we always come away happy and satisfied. Paul cooked our food a little slower with great attention to flavoring and appearance, which made for a much more enjoyable experience.In recent visits, the food seemed dry, as if it was cooked too fast and at too high a heat. Previous meals weve had at Kyoto do not hold a candle to the superior meal Paul prepared for us this evening. Paul was generous with sauces while cooking, and also kept our personal sauce trays full.Paul, thank you for making our family night out extra special. We will definitely be requesting you to prepare our future meals at Kyoto!!!
