Comment: Today is my birthday and my family took me and my siblings here and boy was it amazing. The waitress and waiters were all very nice and kind, the men who grilled were fun and played with us because we are all under 13 so that was a really nice feature. Talk about the food! All made right before your own eyes and was amazing portion, taste, freshness. Great place I recommend for couples and even family’s as a kid under teen I am amazed on how nice it was. Thanks habachi steak house for a great 12th birthday dinner.Austin Morton

Id say the food is like any standard Japanese restaurant. The gyoza is really good. The crab Rangoon and spring rolls were ok. The hibachi chicken and filet are good. The noodles and fried rice are great. They have been consistently good every time weve gone. I would recommend.

Comment: The food here is great but please dont use uber eats. i ordered the food at 5:50. it said an hour for the $2.99 priority. i watched the app and it got picked up at 6:30. we are 15 minutes away. the driver didnt move for a half hour and then we didnt get the order until 7:45. the tempura battered sushi was soggy, salads wilted and the sushi made us uncomfortable. Called Uber.before the food was delivered and got wait till its delivered. called back after delivery stating the food was inedible. NOT THE RESTAURANTS FAULT! The driver said he had phone problems. called uber to complain. got hung up on. called back got told they needed pictures of the food. told him it was in the garbage and wasnt digging it out so he said sorry cant help you. love Ninja hate Uber eats

The restaurant was clean and cozy. The menu had a lot of options to choose from.We ordered some appetizers, sushi rolls, and steak. The appetizers were decent, nothing to write home about. The sushi rolls were fresh and tasty, but not very creative. The steak was disappointing. It was overcooked and smothered with too much sauce. I asked for a rare steak, but I got a medium well one. It was like they didn’t listen to me at all.The cocktails were the best part of the meal. They were reasonably priced at $8 a pop. They had a variety of flavors and ingredients. They were strong and refreshing. They made me forget about the steak.Overall, I would give ninja japanese sushi bar & steak house a 4 out of 5 star rating. It was ok, nothing special. Comment: Wanna get reasonably priced and delicious food in a classy spot? Or just want takeout that is timely and reliably tasty and filling? Either way, this is your spot. My son and I go here for sit down meals and he loves the Ramune drinks, which are fun and they have a variety of flavors. I also pick up lunch here frequently and get lunch specials. I havent tried the hibachi yet, but it looks and smells amazing! Their fish and meats are very high quality, the steaks particularly tender. The sushi is portioned really well, and they are generous with the fish ingredients. Its not the only sushi I get in town, but its by far my favorite spot!

Comment: I personally have been to three Japanese steakhouses in my life. One is Kobes which I have been to five times. The 2nd is out of business and this is the third. I will be comparing this place to Kobes.Review on the hibachi~We came on a Sunday at around 3pmI personally absolutely loved our cook. He was extremely bubbly and energetic.As for the food the salad with the sauce was good. The soup would not be my choice of flavor. My dad also did not like it but my mother loved it.The noodles we all agreed were the BEST thing there. We loved it. As for the rice it was lacking the same sort of treatment the noodles got. The rice was pretty bland or it tastes so bland because it was served after the noodles.As for the main course I got the two steaks at medium (not the tenderloin/fillet).I honestly did not enjoy either of them as much as I wanted to. I wished I had gone with just the fillet. I also tried the chicken which has an unique taste to it that some people will like (I did). The shrimp was also very good.But overall Kobes is a better place to go with if the drive doesnt matter to you.I will be back to try a few things from the lunch menu.~Takeout I got the general taso bento box which came with a lot of different stuff to try. The general task was sweet same with the general taso. They gave plenty of its sauce which I love. The miso soup was absolutely digusting and you could taste the tin that it was kept in for likely days.

Think of a hockey puck!The service was just a little slow, but the place was packed. Many people were waiting to get in to eat.Like most Japanese steak houses, there was enough salad dressing on the salad for two servings.Even when sitting next to each other, it was impossible to hear each other.I guess this was emblematic of a real Japanese night out on the town!Overall, this was a worthwhile restaurant to go out to the evening. Chalk up the one bad dish to a mistake. I would go back. The atmosphere was a little bipolar: loved the art and classy music, we visited between lunch and dinner time so it was quiet... until it wasnt... they would sporadically run a blender/grinder with ice, rocks, and metal utensils (idk what they were doing, I just know it was insanely loud, and not at at all isolated from the dining area).We had a couple rolls and bento boxes, so we can vouch for their salmon, shrimp, miso soup, cali roll, crab rangoon, veggie and shrimp tempura. Ill acknowledge that its odd to focus on minor details before I do just that, but... their ginger dressing on the salad was better than any Ive had, as was their fried rice. One negative in my eyes: the veggie sushi roll with lettuce instead of rice was an odd but unique choice that I cant say Im a fan of. Otherwise everything was great and well definitely come back for the hibachi experience or for a larger meal.

Comment: The best sushi in Missouri that I have found. Being from Southern California and a Japanese food enthusiast, I enjoy fresh authentic sushi and Ninja is as good. Staff is super friendly and the owner or general manager has become a friend of ours. As many times as Ive been there for lunch or dinner and all the many times Ive ordered sushi to go Ive never had a mistake or bad service. Truth be told, I have yet to try the Teppanyaki but that is only because I enjoy the sushi rolls so much. Teppanyaki is on my bucket list though.

Comment: Ordered takeout from the lunch hibachi menu. Paid $2.00 extra for the noodles. When I got back to work the noodles were missing. Too far to go back, and not enough time. The food was good and the service was prompt. Id probably give 5 stars if not for the missing item. I guess maybe a little shame on me for not checking, but still a bit disappointing. Will probably give it another try but will definitely double check the order.

Everyone in my party agreed that the food was more flavorful and fried rice comes standard with no upcharge like the other places. Comment: A mix between or hybrid between a Japanese steak house and a sushi restaurant. Hibachi tables or regular style tables. We had sushi as an appetizer and the Hibachi as our meal. Standard salad, soup, rice, noodles and vegetables, pick your protein. The seasonings used we actually well done not bland at all. Our chef was quite good and even juggled torches, something you dont see often. Another fun thing was the use of a squeeze bottle to dispense sake into your mouth, soda or the like for the little ones. All and all a nice experience.
