Comment: I wana start this review by saying I dont like sea food or fish. I dont know why but every time I try fish I end up hating it.Over 2 visits I ordered fried crab rangoon rol,l chicken teriyaki roll, shrimp tempura roll, avacado roll, sweet potato deluxe and a gyoza for my wife and myself.I wasnt a fan of the chicken because it some how tasted fishy.My wife talked me into trying the fried crab rangoon and it was amazing. It didnt have a strong seafood taste to it and it is honestly one of the best things I think I have ever eaten. It was definitely the stand out of the food we got and i highly recommend it. This one roll is enough for a 1 person meal.The sweet potato deluxe was rich and creamy and I will order it every time I get food from here.The avacado roll was your standard avacado roll.They gave us a free California roll from there buy 3 get 1 free deal and while I didnt eat it my wife said it was very good.The gyoza is nicely fried and the dipping sauce for it adds a lot to its flavor.I highly recommend this place to anyone that is on the fence.

Im not sure what they paid 15.00 for but it wasnt chicken teriyaki. Thats one of the cheapest items on the menu. The ginger on the side was amazingly fresh!! The meal got even better when I ordered the most amazing mochi, super creamy ( I recommend the strawberry!!) the staff were also extremely friendly! Overall this is an amazing quaint sushi place! Also for those who don’t like sushi they have a small menu of non sushi items like udon and chicken! Please if you live in this area give it a try because it is so good!!

Comment: Update: Osaka is delicious, but my last experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I spent a little over $120, and tipped $20 for a carry out order. I was chastised that they only provide 2-settings (chopsticks & napkins, I assume) for each order. Ok, but this is a large order and I have more guest than two. It was an awkward moment. I get that your busy, I get that you have internal rules, but this is a large order, let a few extra chopsticks go, and don’t chastise your customer. 🙄 For the lack customer service, respect, making a customer feel awkward in front of others I am dropping my review to four stars. I’m sorry Osaka your not my parent, spouse, nor do I work for you!The absolute BEST sushi! My kids LOVE Osaka. Its a little pricey for a family meal though. Buy 3 get 1 Free! Okay, our family favorites are Volcano, Jurassic Park, Butterfly, California, & Fried Crab Rangoon.

Comment: I love this place! I go here every chance I get. It’s reasonably priced too! I got four rolls one day for 29 dollars when I was expecting it to be 40.They have buy three get one free deal which is actually really nice. Also the more expensive rolls tend to be bigger too, the mama roll has more than the aloha. It’s roughly a 2-3 dollar difference. They also have really good lunch deals^^ however I think the lunch deal is still only made for one person to eat, as you do get two rolls, but they’re smaller than regular rolls. Their most expensive lunch deal is 12.95 or something, I got the crab Rangoon and delmar roll, it was very good.And other options aside from sushi.I got their chicken katsudon once and it was really good!! Their udon is also very good.My favorite roll so far is the Mama roll.It only gets pricey when you’re getting two rolls or more per person. One 10 dollar roll should be enough to fill up one person, or at least it is for me.So unless you’re a black hole when it comes to eating, it isn’t any more expensive than a regular restaurant.

Upon walking inside you can tell its family oriented and not franchised. Ordered the Rainbow and Alaskan roll and I have to say I was surprised on how well & fresh the sushi was made. The first bite was amazing, something you could enjoy. The prices are kinda up there, but for quality you pay for what you get. I would definitely recommend this place, its A1.

Comment: Osaka Sushi is a small, family owned Asian foods cafe that specializes in sushi (of course!). I am a sushi fanatic and this is my absolute favorite place to eat in the entire St. Louis area. Prices are reasonable and the food is of extremely high quality. I have sampled about 80% of their menu and have never eaten anything that was dissapointing, in fact I wouldnt consider any of it bad at all its just that there are some things I like more than others.Their lunch specials are a steal for what you get, two large rolls for $8-10 pre tax. They have a wide range of sashimi to choose from and a plethra of specialty rolls. Their hamachi (yellowtail), tako (octopi), and hotate (scallops) are among the best Ive eaten anywhere. Food preparation is immaculate and the cafes cleanliness is absolutely impeccable. Osaka Sushi is a shining gem in an area that is dominated by fast food and other status quo dining.

Comment: Best place for sushi. Best price anywhere. Great people..My wife and I go there almost weekly if we are not too busy at work. MG and his wife are lovely. We easily spend $100 on food every time. That is like 8 rolls, Dinner Entree for 2, and drinks. And take home left over food.It sounds expensive, but who doesnt spend $70 to 80 on a meal at other well known restaurants?

The place is cozy, the owners are super nice, the food is amazing and larger than the norm.The fried sushi is mind blowing and the fruit & veggie sushi is so unique. Comment: We were passing through on vacation and found this little place not far from our campground. Highly recommended! They had a buy 3 rolls get one free; so of course we had to utilize the deal, and yes they were all for me. Im picky about my sushi and these rolls gave me goosebumps. That could also be the good food plus vacation goosebumps. :) My husband got the chicken udon noodles (first time trying udon) and loved them also. You should try it out! AND look closely at the artwork!
