Comment: Picked up takeout shortly after the restaurant opened. We had a very mixed experience with the food.Overall: 4/5. We will be coming back, but only for the sushi. My recommendation to anyone looking to eat here would be to only get sushi.Sushi: 5/5! Really good. We had a sunset roll and an eel roll, and both were well made and tasted great. No complaints.Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box: 3/5. The rice was quite dry and the salmon was extremely cooked. I was expecting perhaps a single piece of salmon glazed with sauce, or large chunks. Instead they were small, likely over-fried pieces that would have been amazing if served raw instead of overcooked. The sauce itself was great, however.Additional note that really makes the bento box a 2.5/5: when ordering takeout, you do not get the miso soup. That is only for dine-in, however you pay the same price. This is odd to me, as Ive never been to a place that wont give you takeout miso soup. There is a note on their online menu, but it is easily missed.Teriyaki Chicken and Rice: same issue that the bento box had. Very dry rice, extremely overcooked tiny pieces of chicken, but a tasty sauce.Steamed Shrimp Shumai: 5/5! Tasted great, though a bit small. You get 6 pieces.

Comment: Wonderful sushi! Definitely give their specials a try! Their servers are very kind and attentive. Our glasses were always full. Their salad dressing is really good, too! When you order a roll it comes with salad and miso soup. Im not a huge fan of miso soup in general but my hubby said theirs is exactly what its supposed to taste like. Being stationed in Misawa Japan for several years, he thinks hes an expert. 😉 The wait was a little longer than expected however the rolls are made to order so it was very fresh. Great choice if youre in the mood for sushi! I know we will be back!

Cant really comment on the rest of the food, but usually I’m with someone that orders the bento box/etc. They love it as well. Comment: Always love coming to this spot. Their soup and salad appetizer is hands down the best. If you’ve never drank sake before I would recommend their plum sake or if you don’t like things too sweet then their pear sake is another great one! Service is always excellent and prompt and the food has never been short from amazing. Pictured is one of my favorites which is the Osaki Roll, great mix of texture and condiments. My other favorite is the Las Vegas roll which is fried (a souped up fried Philly roll). They also have a roll that comes out in flames lol it’s called the “OMG roll”, it’s definitely a showstopper and tastes great. And of course if you don’t like sushi they have an extensive menu for kitchen entrees and bento boxes, the spicy pork is another fave of mine.

Comment: This is an amazing sushi restaurant, with great service. This restaurant has a very large variety of sushi rolls, it was hard to make a choice. I was very pleased with my sushi choice. The rolls come with a bowl of miso soup and a salad, The salad was delicious. My server was definitely on top of things, and always insured I had what I needed. The restaurant also has a full bar. This is a great place to visit if you enjoy sushi.

I really enjoy the Las Vegas role, Volcano role, and the Chicken and Jalapeno role. Service is very good most visits. Super clean, everyone was masked, and this review isnt only for the amazing food (which it absolutely is) but the service. Our waitress was an absolute gem! She was super attentive, so nice, and it started storming right before we left, so seeing I had my toddler with me and we were the last customers in the restaurant, she even walked me to my car with an umbrella so my daughter didnt get soaked! 10/10 will be going back!

Dinner tonight was a beef teriyaki bento box for the one who does not like sushi, Sake roll and Mr. Lee roll for the one who prefers cooked seafood, and a chicken jalapeno roll and some regular sushi along for the sushi lover. All served with miso soup and a salad with ginger dressing. All Yummm.

Comment: This is where I tried sushi for the very first time! It was absolutely delicious!!! If you are wanting to try a very very good sushi place make sure you check out Sake you wont regret it. A really good roll would be the Las Vegas Roll and it was around $10 but it was really good.

Comment: The food was pretty good. The service was good not great only because I had to ask for things that the server should have provided without having to ask. For example, having my meal in the table and having to ask for a small sauce bowl for pouring soy sauce. I had to ask for it twice.

Comment: So far this place has the best sushi in town...it beats the rest in the entire St Louis/ East St Louis Area. Its always fresh, and comes with soup and salad. The service is always amazing and they remember my husband and I when we come, we do tip well ;-)Top notch! Oh and we love getting the boat every time we go

Comment: The sushi here is great.their osaki till is one of my favorite sushi rolls period. I think the process are fair when compared to other sushi places. The sushi here comes with a salad and soup which you wouldnt get at some other places. Oh and the service is pretty great. Staff is attentive and the atmosphere is nice. Comment: Was a regular for 4 years on an almost weekly basis. Tried many others in the St. Louis area and around the world. I love Sake! I drop in every trip that takes me through OFallon. Quality has been consistent throughout 6 years. Favorites are the Osaki, the OMG, and the Samurai. If a previous 1-star reviewer is surprised that Soy sauce is salty, I would take that review with a grain of salt...
