Comment: This was my first time trying Sushi AI tonight. I ordered the spicy crab roll, salad with my favorite ginger dressing, miso soup, and some edamame! IT WAS SO GOOD! The portions were huge! My kids love the edamame! To my surprise when I opened my bag I got 2 sample containers of 1 free egg roll and 1 free crab Rangoon! I’m from Chicago and I am used to sweet crab rangoons and this exceeded my expectations!!! It was sweet and there was so much filling! I highly recommend them!! I also have left overs! 10/10!!

Comment: Ive always loved this place and thought the service was excellent, but tonight when my 12-year-old and I dined there, they automatically added gratuity. In the past, my bill seemed high, so I wondered if they were overcharging. On my receipt, it said that four people were dining, and there were only two. Double-check your bill and make sure theyre not getting over. Now Im skeptical of this place. It is sad because my son and I really liked this restaurant. Hopefully, it was an innocent mistake. I have never had such a fantastic, fully-loaded bento box in my life! You get soup, salad, shumai, 6-piece California roll, spring roll — still following? — vegetable tempura, crab rangoon, and white rice in addition to your protein of choice. Furthermore, it is all delicious, especially that divine rangoon! A little on the pricy side, but well worth it for the variety and high quality.

A couple of things to consider if you are going here for the first time are: 1- they will charge you for ordered and uneaten items when you are doing the all you can eat, so start slow and order one or two items at a time. 2- Order the gyoza, ALWAYS order the gyoza, they are delicious. 3- the rolls on the all you can eat menu are very big, so they fill you up very quickly, might me more cost effective to order a la carte.Great SUSHI at a great price! highly recoment.

Comment: This is my first visit to this location and my first time to an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. They have two categories that you can choose: regular and premium. In each category there are sides/salads/appetizers, nigiri, and rolls that you can choose from. You can select a maximum of three rolls each ordering cycle. The place was full when we arrived but we only had to wait a couple of minutes for a table. Because it was busy there was a little delay in us getting our order but it wasnt a detraction as we were told that right up front. We didnt mind because it gave us time to visit with each other and catch up. The sushi was presented nicely and tasted good. They even had gluten free soy sauce for us! Ive never had a sweet potato roll before but it was yummy. I look forward to our next visit.

Shes my sushi buddy since my wife and son wont eat it. My daughter is 12, so she still qualifies for the child discount for a few more months, and the waitress always asks her how old she is rather than making me ask for it.We prefer nigiri and simple rolls, but all of their rolls are delicious. The restaurant was also nicely remodeled a few years ago, which provides a much more enjoyable dining experience over the old space with torn up booths. If you havent been since before Covid, I highly recommend you give them another chance. You wont regret it!

Comment: So we normally go to the one in Clayton but due to covid they dont have dine in, the only reason its not 5 star is I dont agree with making a 2 part for the all you can eat (its always been $20 all you can eat) some other locations dont do that and its like $18 for basic and then there is the additional for and extra $5 granted its not super expensive add on just a bummer.As for the food that is a total 5 stars they do an amazing job on par with the Clayton location (its the best one we have been so its the standard for us) and the staff is amazing they made sure we had drinks and food, our waitress even let one of us try something from the additional menu without changing the price for it (one nagiri)All in all alittle pricey but well worth it for a good night out

Comment: The Manchester one doesnt have the buffet option like downtown but still has all you can eat. However they split theirs up into 2 tiers. Standard (12.99) and premier (15.99). Waitress was very friendly and nice in explaining how it all works. Food was super delicious as always!

Comment: Not a large place but very cozy. All booths, so not good for a large group. They have 2 options for ordering, regular menu OR an all you can eat option. Lunch prices for the AYCE option was regular for $12.99 or premium for $15.99. Plenty of delicious choices with both options, including appetizers, soup, salads and of course sushi.If you have a good appetite, I highly recommend this option. But be warned, if your eyes are bigger than your stomach, they will charge you extra for what you dont eat. So start off small, you can always place another order at no extra charge if youre still hungry. The quality was as good as any sushi I have had in St Louis and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Comment: We’ve been here twice after a bad experience at the Maryland heights location (first time at the chain). This one is so much better! They have a different menu which is surprising, but the rolls they do have in common are much better. Theres a lot of American fusion sushi, and also authentic raw fish. It isnt cheap, but sushi rolls are usually $11-18 per roll at other places, so if youll eat at least 2-3 per person (plus appetizers are included in the all you can eat), its a great deal. Plus they sell rolls a la carte and other entrees. Gyoza and crab Rangoon are good apps also

Comment: My son and his girlfriend introduced me to the joys of Sushi, especially Sushi Ai. Rolls are expensive everywhere because of the ingredients & the skill it takes to assemble each one. This is why Sushi Ai is so attractive. They have an AUCE option that may seem pricey, but when you can eat 4 rolls with soup, nigiri and appetizers, its actually a good deal.Ive been to Lafayette Center & Chesterfield locations for lunch and dinner and the wait staff are very efficient, check back frequently and are friendly. Ive only tried one roll that I didnt like (eel) but others in my group who also did AUCE took it off my plate. Nothing goes to waste in my groups!

Comment: All in all A+Sushi Ai is a well established sushi restaurant with multiple locations in Saint Louis city & counties.I have been there multiple times and never had any issues after eating there. The have cooked and even tempura [fried] options for the fish if you are worried about having it raw.The atmosphere is classic restraunt with a nice splash of asian inspired theme [such as the bamboo bordering and light background music]. The sushi rolls and nigiri are brought out beautifully arranged on large plates to encourage trying a little of everything.Speaking of trying a little of everything they offer an all you can eat sushi, nigiri, salad, and more for $19 a person. All still freshly made and not sitting out buffet style. There is a premium version that is a little more expensive for more choices.

Sometimes the quality isnt 100% - personally Ive only had some iffy avocado. No bad fish, ever. And I tend to prefer the raw sushi. Theyre fast, make delicious sushi and its reasonably priced for take out or dine in all you can eat. They do have other options.

The photo below was the first of many plates of sushi to be consumed. Everyone was pleased with their choices, no complaints with the food or service. We were there on a Monday evening, so may not have been the busiest day for them. I would have no hesitation in dinning here again, and look forward to doing so.

There is some snobby lady named Abby who left a negative review...well I was there...WE ALL WAITED A WHILE! You are rude and arrogant...if you wanted fast food you should have gone to a drive thru...nowhere in the restaurant did it state you were guaranteed your food in x amount of time! Food was worth the wait. They could not help the volume of business they unexpectedly had. I will go here anytime I am near. The waitress was AWESOME! I saw her correcting food the chef was making and I could tell she cared.
