Comment: Weve loved this place for years. Were aware management has changed but its still amazing. This is my go-to for Hamachi Kama with Daikin oroshi, ponzu sauce and a bowl of gohan 😋 The sushi is always delicious, the Tonkatsu Ramen, tempura...everything weve had over the years is yummy. Comment: Sushi Uokura is our family’s go-to when craving sushi. They have such a great selection of fresh fish. We started with green tea which was served extra hot and appreciated on a cold day in Colorado. Our server was on top of refills for both water and tea.Since it was my mom’s birthday she picked our sushi selection. Everything we had was SOOOO delicious. We had one order of sashimi, several selections of the nigiri and a couple of rolls. This was enough for 3 of us to share and still have a few pieces to take home. The Ebi was exceptional and my favorite from the selection. Each roll had a great combination of flavors and textures.The staff are friendly and professional and the sushi selection is always fresh.

Comment: I was pleasantly surprised that the Sushi was very good. The Staff was attentive and nice. The only thing I didn’t like was the Golden Roll. It was supposed to have a Tempura batter but it was heavy and doughy. I’m hoping I’ll have a 5 star experience the next visit!

Comment: Absolutely amazing food and service! Went there around 5:45pm… glad we got there in time because it got incredibly busy! Not a lot of parking but that’s okay. We ordered the Golden Roll, spider roll, spicy tuna roll, shrimp tempura roll, octopus nigiri, and gyoza. The golden roll was amazing! Definitely recommend.

Comment: Enjoyed a beautiful evening, on their patio, of all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi. Menu is limited for AYCE but the offerings are not cheap or cheesy. Rolls included shrimp, salmon eel, crab (kani), tuna, and tempura options. All were great.Mom&Pop size and style restaurant. Service staff were quite attentive, efficient and made no mistakes with the multiple-roll orders.Definitely retuning soon!

Comment: Now one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Denver metro area. Sushi Uokura had a curated menu from where you can order special rolls, large sashimi plates, or a plethora of dinner options. The Budweiser roll was absolutely dynamite and I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a tuna roll. There were so many other creative ones we really wanted to try. The atmosphere is very cozy, decorated in a fun manner and each plate was a work of art. Absolutely will be back.

Comment: A great restaurant in an inconspicuous spot off of 6th Ave. 20 years and going strong. Some of the best sushi around. The staff is friendly and efficient. Plenty of seating in the dining area or sushi bar however the restaurant can get pretty busy on the weekend. Daily specials and plenty of sushi, sashimi and standard menu options. Been partaking here for 19 years and have never been disappointed in the presentation, freshness and quality of their offerings. Almost hate to post this as it could make it harder to get a seat here in the future but I just have to support a great local restaurant!

Comment: We were pleasantly surprised to find this sushi gem hidden on the outskirts of Denver coming back into town from visiting Loveland Pass off I-70 W. Were seated quickly, served promptly, and didnt have to wait long for our Sashimi dinner. Quality sushi and quality service. Makes sense that we had to pay for quality price. $80+ for Sashimi big plate, rainbow roll and Uokura Roll with waters all the way around. Some of us left hungry. There were five of us including two children 10 & under. Had to drive thru McDonalds on the way home for the kids to satiate their spoiled appetites, lol

Comment: We absolutely loved our experience here. Friendly staff and delicious food. Reasonable prices. Definitely plan to return.Side note: we were asked if we wanted to sit outside or in. I chose outside despite impending thunderstorms. When it started to rain, they asked us if we wanted to move inside. We said no, but if it got worse, we might. They gave us the ok to go inside whenever we were ready, and theyd bring all of our stuff in for us. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff, despite us causing a problem. They were so gracious about it. Kindness goes such a long way. Thank you to your staff! Yall are amazing.

Comment: I have to say, when my partner suggested sushi, I was questioning it since Ive never had it before, but after this being my first experience, I have to say its one of the best foods I have had. Additionally one of the best services Ive had even with follower restaurant goers. The server was very sweet and the sushi bar staff was beyond amazing. I would 1000% eat here every day if given the opportunity. Thank you so much for letting this be the first sushi experience!

Comment: This place is awesome. Ive had Japanese food and sushi all over the world, including Japan. This isnt the best Ive had, but its in the top section of the class. The all you can eat option is pretty good for $30, and I love that you can get salad, soup, and appetizers like gyoza with that option. The Nigiri is always fresh and I really like the red snapper cuts. The only thing I would say is I wish you could get like x amount of sashimi. I get that rice is cheap and you want people to fill up on it, but I feel like its almost cheating the great fish by forcing the rice to be eaten with it all the time. If I may suggest, simply limit it by allowing people to get a maximum of 6 pieces of sashimi or something. We are from Michigan but live up in the mountains about half the winter; we make it a point to eat here every trip, we drive down the hill to specifically eat at your restaurant, and we bring friends from out of town when they visit. Keep up the good work!

Comment: My first time after hearing so many raves, and it did not disappoint, I got take out and a big order, loved it all.Two comments - one good, the way they put saran wrap over the styrofoam soup containers - brilliant! So often things go sideways while driving and you end up with a bag full of liquid, ingenious!The other not good, that back parking lot is a rutted muddy mess. At least get some gravel and fill those huge potholes that right now are full of water and mud. Parking is a bit tight around there with Honda right next door.Well be back.

Sushi is really delicious and fresh, and the tuna is very tender and good as well. I had a great time eating here. The atmosphere is very homely, although though it can be a little hard to find at times. Definitely recommend coming here for real deal sushi. For the finishing I requested a michi ice cream, which is nicely plated and melts in your mouth. Wonderful!
