Comment: I love going to Wasabi and sitting at the sushi bar. The sushi chefs are great host and it’s fun watching them work. The sushi is always reliably delicious and the atmosphere is cool and relaxing. I don’t know which I love more, the plum wine, Kamikaze roll, or the tempura udon. Who am I kidding, the plum wine it is! But the tempura udon is a close second especially when it’s cold out.

Comment: This place is very inviting, you can smell the food from around the corner. This place provides outdoor dining which is great. Table reservations is required for parties of 4 or more. I went with a friend and ordered a Bento Box (as seen in my uploaded pictures), it includes 8 pieces California rolls, 2 egg rolls, steamed rice and a protein of your choice, it also comes with miso soup or house salad. The food was amazing and so was our waitress Alessandra, she was on it with our refills and kept us happy with her cheerful personality. Overall, this is a good place and I recommend it.

Comment: Im upset with myself for not knowing Wasabi existed before now! Their ramen and sashimi is WELL worth a drive down from Thornton to get. All of the constituent components of the ramen are on point, from the noodles with perfect texture, to the eggs that are boiled and seasoned just right. The sashimi is large thick chunks of fish, not the small thin pieces Ive gotten elsewhere. Its not a cheap meal - but for this quality it shouldnt be, and is a very good price for what you get!If you dine in, they also have a gorgeous and extremely well maintained salt water aquarium that is mesmerizing to watch!

Comment: Came here and had and he pleasure of having Miko as my server. Awesome dude. Super attentive and friendly. Had the tonkatsu ramen it was alright. Could have added more pork, but came back a couple days later and had the bento box and shrimp tempura. Absolutely awesome! Everything went beyond my expectation as far as the flavor and the price is still pretty decent. Thanks Miko! hope to be back soon.

Comment: Came in during the late afternoon on a Tuesday and was able to get a table for myself and 2 friends right away. Friendly staff, delicious food. We all had drinks and a lot of other appetizers as well as some of their signature rolls. We over ate and had a great time for a couple hours.Only issue I had was they seemed to overseat or crowd our side of the restaurant, there are 2 apparent sections and they only seemed to be seating our side haha but thats not a big deal! Will definitely be back again :)

Comment: Ive always enjoyed having dinner here. And with all the COVID-19 restrictions going on I felt especially comfortable this time. They checked temperatures at the door. There was hand sanitizer at every table. Social distancing was visibly being enforced and the cleanliness was definitely seen and felt. I have eaten out at other establishments. But I must say. Wasabi is definitively exceeding the guidelines. I was very impressed. And as always! The service and food was amazing! 😊

I have been trying to prevent altitude sickness and I noticed when my boyfriend and I arrived I wasnt really feeling that great. I hadnt had much to eat today and was feeling shaky. I asked him what was quick so I can at least get a little food into my system right away. He offered up miso soup (it came out super fast) and its exactly what I didnt know I needed. It hit the spot! The soup was incredible. All the other food was delicious but the service absolutely made my day. There has been a lot of negativity lately and being able to experience kindness like that was truly mind blowing. Definitely order a Kamikaze roll. It was amazing. Thank you. Cannot wait to come back on my next trip to Denver.

They were able to push it back an hour due to somethings coming up which I appreciated. Staff was very friendly and attendant. Very helpful as we don’t do sushi often, explaining ingredients and portions etc. Great environment, provided dishes for our cake. A lot of mixed reviews but our experience was great for a Monday evening. Food was great and tasted fresh! And timely for a big party. We willl be back for sure!

Comment: Whenever I go here I order a purple haze sake, a Philadelphia roll, and an unagi roll. Also their gyoza and vegetable tempura is heavenly! The service is impeccable, you can sit at the bar and watch sushi being rolled, inside or in the patio. The atmosphere is very modern, the restaurant is clean. Also great happy hour deals!

Comment: Wasabi is a great neighborhood sushi joint. We have been going there on and off for years. They have a great select of rolls, but a little on the pricey side. The fish is always fresh and cut well, not too small like some other places around town. I do wish they would change up the specials a little more often then they do or just add them to the regular menu if they keep them this long. If you are in Belmar, stop in, youll enjoy it.

Comment: Amazing place we ordered several orders of sushi and it came. The waiter made sure we has a great experience and were satisfied. The food was amazing a explosion of flavors. The quality of food is amazing compared to other places. Even with a party of 14 people. They have a great array of drinks, food, and appetizers. There is a diffirence in flavor from the fish than other quick sushi. The shrimp tempura was amazing it was really good. The ramen soup was great and it looked good to. The sushi just melts away in you mouth. The crab was so good.

Really, I would go back there just to sit by that sweet fish tank! Our server was a nice gentleman too and made me feel very welcome. I would definitely go back!

Comment: Been today at this place celebrating friend’s birthday 🎂 We were seating outside, the weather was great! So sunny and warm. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. Cooking time is pretty fast by the way. Rolls we ordered were delicious 😋 We liked everything we got. On a dessert we hot fried ice-cream for free because of birthday girl . She had a chance to spin a round wheel with free gift. Ice-cream is yummy 🤤 So in general I would like to come back

Comment: My girlfriend and I went to Wasabi prior to seeing a movie next door. It was a spur of the moment decision and honestly I was not expecting anything spectacular. I ended up very impressed with the food. The rolls were well presented and fresh and I especially liked some of the signature rolls. The sauces and fresh ingredients blended well together. We will definitely be back again.

Comment: This place has really great sushi. The atmosphere is very modern and trendy though still very cozy. They have a really big patio full of great furniture. It’s so great in the summer to sit out there in the lights they have. Oh and wen you order enough sushi they bring it out to you on a little wooden boat. We always love going with a group so that we can get our sushi on a boat.

Comment: I love this place. Such great sushi. I love that they have a normal menu but also change it up a bit with specials. I enjoy the service here also, there are many serving staff who work as a team which is nice to see. The food is also amazing. I enjoy being able to go in to their happy hour as well without breaking the bank like many other sushi places. I have been here many times and will keep coming back!!

Comment: Use the Groupon!! Food is better than any sushi in Lakewood Ive had, and even outside of it. They use real snow crab and crab. Large hot sakes are actually large and we had great service. Thanks Cam! ;) read all reviews and was very skeptical but had already purchased Groupon. It was beyond worth it!Please remember service is going to be a hit or miss anywhere you go. Thats life and some people just think they should be given $ without doing a job well done (we did not have that case as Cam was our server).

Comment: My honest opinion is that the sushi is overrated. Prices are high, but its an expensive area so it cant be helped, but make sure to come in during happy hour. They do run a lot of deals and coupons though. The sushi itself is great, but the sashimi could be much, much fresher. The service is OK, they never really seem too friendly, but they do accomodate for you if you ask.

Comment: This is a really great sushi place. Definitely check it out during happy hour as you can get most rolls for 30% off. You can also get an additional 20% off your meal when you check in with Yelp. The staff was incredibly attentive and the rolls were incredible. The Diablo roll is dynamite, and you definitely need to try it. Great food, great spot, great experience. Parking is a little tight, but there is a nearby lot that you can snag a spot in if youre lucky.

Comment: Disregard the drama queens on here, and get to Wasabi!We started going there around the beginning of fall, and the service has been nothing short of spectacular.Weve probably been there about 20 times now, and the rolls have always been great, the drinks to our liking, and the servers have been very personable.Now, Im guessing the people who are trashing this place are the types of self-glorified douche bags I saw there last Sunday night who thought it would be cool to degrade the wait staff by calling him Boss in a demeaning fashion.The best time to go is Monday for happy hour where the food is VERY reasonable, and the service remains great.

Comment: My wife and I just went there today, after 2 + years. I must say, it was just as delicious as it was the last not, if not more. We had a coupon from Groupon that was pretty cool. We ordered some new items that we have never seen or heard of. They very good. I liked that they had changed the way your order by marking in the menu. (Pretty Cool, not wasting paper!) I HIGHLY recommend in going!!!! We cant wait to go back!

Comment: The sushi here is outstanding. I have been to pretty much every sushi joint in the Denver-Metro area and this is in my top 5. There was ONE time I went and they put a bit too much vinegar in the rice when they made it (ruins it for me instantly) but since I have been there probably 50 times, one isnt bad! Probably a new person that day or something.The staff is very friendly. They make you feel welcome and at home. The mailing list is great too. They send out a lot of coupons. Their emails are hand typed (not some auto generated crap) which is nice because you get a much more personal feel from the business as a whole that way.To sum it up: Great sushi, good prices, great staff/atmosphere and good location.

Comment: I have had a love affair with sushi for 20+ years. My husband however has not, that is until he tried sushi at Wasabi. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed ourselves so very much! It was a wonderful date night. And we have since been back with the kids. We love it because the food is great, the sushi is great, the drinks are great. So no matter who you bring they will be satisfied. Check out Groupon if you want to try it for the first time, it makes Wasabi even sweeter! I cant say enough about how much I like to eat here! I docked one star only because consistently on several visits the wait staff is MIA or doesnt check in enough or even look your direction to see if you need anything. Comment: The first time I ate here I wasnt that impressed. The sushi didnt taste particularly fresh, but the portions were large.Recently I tried it again. It was good this time. And again, and again... same thing. Its 5 out of 6 now, so its time for a review and Im confident this place has good sushi.Whole Foods sushi down the block is also good, but I prefer Wasabi at this point. The rice is more flavorful, its more affordable and the fish is on par.
