Comment: My daughter wanted sushi after her cheer comp and we were lucky to find Wasabi close to the venue. We got right in and our server Lauren took good care of us. She helped my daughter pick out something she would like and customized it for her. Our food was delicious and I was very impressed how quickly the chefs had our sushi made and then out to the table. I like to try things I can’t get at home when I’m out of town, so I tried the dragons breath roll it was delicious and a very dramatic presentation!

Comment: Great sushi, appetizer with excellent service. I ordered the appetizer sampler with a spring roll, gyoza, shrimp tempura and crab rangoon. It was more than I should have eaten but everythign was so good I couldnt resist. The sweet chili sauce was perfect with just enough heat to make it delicious and edible. I also had a shrimp tempura roll. The flavors were good with the crispy topping making a nice crunchy addition. The roll did fall apart when trying to use chopsticks. Thsi didnt affect the falbvor just made it harder to eat. Megan, the server was exceptional. I almost felt as if she was taking care of me in her own home. Great job with recommendations and refilling my drink.

Comment: If it’s sushi you want, sushi you shall receive at Wasabi! Seriously, in the city-like atmosphere of Streets of St Charles, this takes the cake of uniqueness! The menu was good quality- except, why is the amount of sushi you get per roll not on the menu? It was seriously confusing for me with not knowing how many I could get if I wasn’t careful. The roll I got was six, which would have been nice to know or else I could’ve double ordered it. At the beginning of the experience, our server didn’t know we were seated, which she apologized and said nobody told her we were seated there, so my only constructive criticism is to maybe improve server-to-server communication? All in all, not bad! The Alaska Roll is really good if you want my recommendation!

Comment: Wonderful sushi place, especially for lunch. Their lunch special is a steal. Two rolls with a soup or salad all for like $15. Theyve got an expansive menu and plenty of drink options. I ended up getting the Philidelphia roll and their Mr Yum roll. Both were delicious. Normally pretty underwhelmed by Philadelphia rolls and only order them if they come in a combo, but I think Id order one just on its own at this place. Friendly staff too! Just pray you can get parking; Streets of St Charles has always been a mess in that regard but thats not the restaurants fault.

Its pretty disrespectful to customers to close well before your advertised time.Update - I gave them a cpl of months before trying again and I am glad I did. It smells super clean and the server was outstanding. He worked the entire restaurant by himself and didnt seem frustrated neither did the customers. The fried rice wasnt bad it just had more grease/butter than I have ever had in fried rice. Other than that I would recommend for a quick lunch.

At most places theres always at least 1 or 2 rolls that we arent overly thrilled about and wish we didnt get. However, that was not the case here. All 9 of our sushi rolls, plus the crab rangoon appetizer were delicious! To top it off our server, I think her name was Tori, was a lot of fun, and had great recommendations and tips on specials. Comment: Ordered the small sushi boat with the choice of an ocean roll, a spicy tuna roll, and a bowl of miso soup for dinner. The food was great and the fish was fresh. Compliments to the one sushi chef that was working this evening. I completely understand the delay with my order and only wish that I had cash on hand to personally tip you. However, the only reason I could not give the fifth star was because of your hostess. She was a blond girl with red highlights. Initially I had no issues with the hour wait for my order. When I arrived I was told that he was behind and it would take an additional 20 minutes. I had no problem with that, but I had calmly spoken to that hostess and said I wish I was notified of an additional delay I might have canceled or driven later. She abruptly answered and quite rudely Okay! Do you want to cancel now?! I decided to wait and recieved my order from her, only to see as I walked out that she had forgotten my miso soup. Once I walked back in she continued her discourteous manner and and asked if there was something wrong. Then handed me my miso soup with the lid poorly placed for it to then spill all over the inside of the bag. Not quite the experience Id expect from a sushi restaurant of this caliber, but I understand front of house work can get you flustered. This being said you should not be taking it out on a customer. Go to the back of the house and vent it out like everyone else and not in front of paying customers.

Comment: The sushi here is really good and they offer amazing deals! however, we were a little disappointed last time as it seemed they were more focused on making the orders for take out vs prioritizing the customers in the restaurant. We waited over an hour to get our food on top of the thirty minutes to be seated. If you do go just know that on Tuesdays they will not prioritize those in the restaurants over call ins. Other than that it is fantastic!

Comment: It was very quiet today for lunch and I felt like I had VIP service. Everything is still open here in St Charles County which is nice and we feel very safe due to the covid-19 protocals. The food was really good, it was a nice treat as we were on the road due to the holidays but very familiar with this area. She is super knowledgeable of the rolls and suggested the best fully cooked rolls for me and my unborn baby. My craving was met and exceeded my every desire ! The rolls were perfect, I forget which exact ones except the Kamikaze. The free edamame was a nice touch as an appetizer too. We also had a side of chicken fried rice, and I would literally come back just for that. It was that good. Turns out our gift card was too old to work with their system when it came time to pay. Taryn worked with us and even gave us a discount for the hassle. Our waitress was sweet, but not overbearing. She checked in at the right times, and she offered me another beer without me asking. Told him I was from out of town (ironically he is familiar with Rochester, NY)!He said I truly think we have the best sushi around. I am an addict for salmon so I asked him for some suggestions. I ordered my rolls and I was blown away. The price is on par with what you would expect to pay for quality sushi. They dont over-do the rice. There was not a huge crowd, the server was super friendly, and she even let us try the soups before picking one, since we didnt know which ones to get! The lunch special prices were decent, and my friend love the sushi! I got the beef teriyaki. It was a little over cooked for my taste, but still totally delicious! My friend got the Miso soup and I got the gyoza soup both were very good. They even brought her out of piece of cheesecake to celebrate her birthday! Never had that before, but it added just the right flavoring to the roll. The avocado roll was also really good, but Im sure that would be hard to screw up. Comment: Love it ! Im vegetarian so I create my own room. I get avocado, asparagus, cucumber and cream cheese with the soy paper roll fried with spicy mayo on top ! I also get a side of sweet and sour sauce. Yum ! The plum iced tea is great tea. Sometimes the service can be slow but thats because they are busy. Id rather it be slow at times and the food done right than a rushed job . 🙌👍

Comment: Ive come here a couple times on Tuesday for their $6 Roll special. Their food is incredible - I havent had any bad sushi from here. Its a fairly small place so everyone is packed in. Servers have a hard time keeping up with the amount of people. My average dining experience here takes 1.5 - 2 hours. Definitely call ahead and reserve a table on Tuesdays!

Comment: Wasabi has become our new go-to sushi place, along with the venerable Crazy Sushi. They have great lunch specials and on Tuesdays all rolls are $6 for dinner! The food is great, the wait staffs consistently friendly and helpful, and the management checks in and makes sure everything is good. They are often busy so you may want to call ahead to reserve a table.
