Many moons ago, seven years to be exact, we found that there was a dire need for a Japanese restaurant that took sushi seriously. So after preparing roll after roll and perfecting flavor after flavor, Wasabi was born smack dab in the middle of the United States – St. Louis, Missouri.

But relax, we don’t fish in the Mississippi River.

Since we opened that first Wasabi location, we have prided ourselves on our authentic, mouth-watering Japanese cuisine and extensive menu selections. From sushi to sake and sashimi to nigiri, we offer the freshest ingredients from the coast in a refreshing atmosphere close to home.

No worries – we have something for every palette. Enjoy a succulent seaweed salad while sipping on an Asian Pear Sake Mojito. Or try our traditional recipe for crispy Teriyaki Chicken that will guarantee no leftovers. Yeah, it’s that good.
